“Love, Richer Than Gold” – Today is the third Sunday of our annual financial appeal, which runs until Commitment Sunday on November 22nd. The theme for this year’s appeal is Love, Richer Than Gold, inspired by a hymn composed by British musician Luke Connaughton. A five-week stewardship preaching series on the same theme continues Sunday with a message entitled “Ready for What May Come.” Please prayerfully consider your financial support for the coming year. We will welcome your intention form by Nov. 22nd.
Introducing the Gospel of Mark – Sunday is the second of four Bible studies on Mark, in the St. Alban’s Room, 11:45-12:45, led by Father Kevin. On the first Sunday of Advent, we will begin reading weekly from Mark. The objective of this study is to engage with Scripture to help us hear the gospel with deeper understanding throughout the coming Year B of the Revised Common Lectionary. Plan to attend!

Choose from two watercolour illustrations: In “O Holy Night,” a caribou admires the Northern Lights shimmering over a cozy log cabin; in “Our Dear Saviour’s Birth,” Joseph and Mary admire the newborn King. Order cards by contacting Anslim Hameed at (416) 822-9083 or toll-free at 1 (877) 936-9199 ext. 228, or by email at

Stewardship Thought: Keeping Our Lamps Burning - November 11th, we honour those who sacrificed for peace by carrying their legacy forward. During this year’s financial appeal, please consider how your financial gifts to St. Jude’s and its outreach ministries can keep the light burning to nurture peace, justice and compassion in a world desperately needing all three. The love we share is richer than gold.
