We regret to announce the death of Sharon deVree’s mother, Mrs. Verda Ilene Jewell, on 22nd February. JEWELL, Verda Ilene (March 25, 1918 - February 22, 2010) Peacefully on February 22, 2010 at Craigweil Gardens,
Ailsa Craig in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her loving husband Orville
(1988). Lovingly remembered by her children, Gary (Cathy) and Sharon
DeVree (Stan). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Brian (Vlasta),
Paul, Janine DeVree (Darryl), Julie DeVree (Tim) and great grandchildren,
Noah, Edan, Ayla and Kyera. Verda is survived by her brother, Glen
Crandall (Evie). Visitation will take place at Memorial Funeral Home 1559
Fanshawe Park Road (east of Highbury) on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from
7 - 9 p.m. and on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 10 - 11 a.m. with
memorial service following. Donations may be made in Verda's memory to
Siloam United Church or Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to
Memorial Funeral Home
